Abstract

|
Sudden cardiac death is one of major unresolved clinical and public health problem in the developed countries. In this review the definition, epidemiology, and pathogenesis of sudden cardiac death and structural cardiovascular abnormalities frequently found in sudden cardiac death are briefly stated.
